In the tense 72 hours before D-Day, and the fate of the free world hanging in the balance, PRESSURE follows General Dwight D. Eisenhower and Captain James Stagg as they face an impossible choice—launch the largest and most dangerous invasion in history or risk losing the war altogether. We are delighted to welcome General The Lord Richard Dannatt for a post-screening Q&A. General The Lord Richard Dannatt is Chairman of the Normandy Memorial Trust which has built the British Memorial in Normandy over the last ten years. A retired senior British Army officer and former Chief of the General Staff, he oversees the national memorial in Ver-sur-Mer, France, which commemorates the 22,442 service personnel under British command who died on D-Day and during the Battle of Normandy. Plus, there will be a display of items supplied by the Rackheath Pathfinders Group.
